Senior Product Manager (AI Processing)

Location: Remote within the United States

Target annual compensation: $160,000–$230,000

What you will do

• Own and execute the Processing product roadmap for utility bill normalization, validation, tolerancing, exception handling, and production of clean payables.
• Map manual and labor-intensive operational workflows, quantify costs and error rates, and prioritize automation opportunities.
• Lead the production adoption of AI-powered document processing, data extraction, and agentic automation.
• Modernize and migrate legacy or acquired systems while maintaining continuity for live customer operations.
• Build business cases connecting automation investments to cost per bill, margins, pricing, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Operations, Data, Payments, Commercial, and R&D teams to improve quality, customer outcomes, and retention.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, including products or services with embedded operations or human-service components.
• Experience redesigning manual data entry, exception queues, or outsourced processing into automated or AI-assisted workflows with measurable cost-per-unit improvements.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI-powered document processing, data extraction, or agentic automation into production.
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy or acquired systems while maintaining operational continuity.
• Strong understanding of unit economics, gross margin, cost reduction, pricing strategy, analytics, and complex operational workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Utility billing or invoice processing experience.
• Experience integrating service operations after mergers and acquisitions.
