Senior Product Manager (Semantic Platform)

Location: Irvine, CA; hybrid work arrangement

Annual pay range: USD 107,200–130,000

What you will do

• Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for an internal semantic platform.
• Evolve the platform from an early-stage MVP into a usable, scalable operational system.
• Translate cross-functional use cases into reusable platform capabilities supporting YAML files, MCP tools, and agent-based assets.
• Develop frameworks and product features for evaluating semantic context quality, completeness, reusability, and fitness for purpose.
• Establish intake and prioritization processes while balancing competing stakeholder priorities.
• Monitor adoption, feedback, and usage patterns to refine the roadmap and improve platform effectiveness.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of product management experience focused on platform or data products.
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent industry experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience building or scaling internal platforms, developer tools, or data systems.
• Strong collaboration experience with engineering, architecture, data, and other technical teams.
• Understanding of AI/ML, cloud computing, big data, and semantic layers.
• Experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, analyzing data, conducting user research, and influencing stakeholders in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Exposure to metadata management, ontologies, or knowledge graphs.
• Experience with AI/ML or data-driven product ecosystems.
• Familiarity with data governance, data modeling, or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience managing large-scale data-driven applications and working with Agile, Waterfall, or Extreme project methodologies.
