Senior Product Manager (Semantic Platform)

Location: Irvine, CA; hybrid

Annual pay range: $107,200–$130,000 USD

What you will do

• Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for the Semantic Platform.
• Evaluate the existing MVP and prioritize improvements to usability, coverage, scalability, and adoption.
• Translate cross-functional use cases into reusable platform capabilities supporting YAML files, MCP tools, and agent-based assets.
• Build frameworks and product features for evaluating and scoring semantic context quality, including completeness, reusability, and fitness for purpose.
• Partner with Architecture, Technology, Engineering, Data Stewardship, Product teams, and subject-matter experts to align platform capabilities and priorities.
• Monitor adoption, feedback, and usage patterns to refine the roadmap and drive enterprise-wide standardization.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of product management experience focused on platform or data products.
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience building or scaling internal platforms, developer tools, or data systems.
• Strong experience collaborating with engineering, architecture, and data teams.
• Understanding of AI/ML, cloud computing, big data, and semantic layers.
• Experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, influencing stakeholders without direct authority, and working in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Exposure to metadata management, ontologies, or knowledge graphs.
• Experience with AI/ML or data-driven product ecosystems.
• Familiarity with data governance, data modeling, or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience managing large-scale data-driven applications and Agile, Waterfall, or Extreme methodologies.
