Senior Manager, Product Management (Data Orchestration)

Location: Bay Area, California, United States; hybrid schedule with office attendance required 2–3 times per week. Travel is approximately 10%. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $153,900–$219,800 annually for candidates in the Boston, New York City–Newark, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, Seattle, and Washington, DC metropolitan areas. Other U.S. compensation bands may apply based on location. Annual bonus eligibility is also available.

What you will do

• Drive product planning and roadmap execution for data ingestion, transformation, routing, synchronization, scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and delivery capabilities.
• Define requirements for reusable data pipelines, configurable flows, source-to-target mappings, transformations, validation, retries, replay, exception handling, reconciliation, and operational monitoring.
• Partner with Engineering and Architecture on batch, near-real-time, event-driven, streaming, API-based, and workflow-triggered data flows.
• Define data contracts, schema versioning, event and API payloads, metadata, lineage, backward compatibility, lifecycle management, and consumer notification patterns.
• Support insurance, analytics, AI, reporting, knowledge graph, vector index, and intelligent workflow data consumption patterns.
• Measure adoption, reliability, latency, onboarding efficiency, reuse, implementation effort, and downstream data trust while aligning Product, Engineering, Data, AI, Security, and customer-facing stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, data management, engineering, business, insurance, analytics, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, platform product management, data product management, enterprise software, SaaS, PaaS, or related roles.
• Experience leading complex initiatives across product, engineering, architecture, data, customer-facing, and business teams.
• Experience with data platforms, pipelines, integration platforms, workflow orchestration, APIs, event-driven architecture, ETL/ELT, data contracts, metadata, lineage, observability, or enterprise integration patterns.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business and technical problems into product priorities, requirements, trade-off decisions, and measurable outcomes.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and work from the Bay Area office 2–3 times per week.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced experience in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in P&C insurance, InsurTech, financial services, or another complex regulated industry.
• Experience with platform, data, analytics, AI enablement, or integration products in a multi-product SaaS environment.
