Senior Product Manager, Agentic Application (AI)

Location: Bay Area, CA, United States. Flexible-first work environment with office, remote, or hybrid options. Travel: 10%. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $164,600–$235,200 annually for candidates in the San Francisco/Bay Area metropolitan area. Annual bonus eligibility may also apply.

What you will do

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for an agentic AI application that automates insurance product configuration.
• Define capabilities for document ingestion, structured extraction, knowledge graph development, configuration generation, validation, and human review.
• Translate carrier workflows, AI accuracy requirements, and scalability goals into product requirements, roadmaps, user stories, and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Engineering and Architecture on agent orchestration, event-driven communication, durable state management, cloud infrastructure, and multi-tenant SaaS patterns.
• Establish evaluation methods and accuracy targets covering extraction accuracy, configuration validity, review approvals, throughput, and onboarding velocity.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, AI Platform, Security, Governance, Customer Success, Professional Services, and carrier stakeholders on releases and product direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical, business, insurance, or product field.
• 6+ years of experience in technical product management, AI product management, platform services, software engineering, or a related area.
• Experience owning complex AI, data, platform, or document-processing product capabilities.
• Experience translating ambiguous business and technical problems into product strategy, requirements, release plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience working with engineering, architecture, data science, customer-facing, and business stakeholders.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI agent frameworks, LLM evaluation, knowledge graphs, document understanding, structured data extraction, or agentic AI pipelines.
• Experience in property and casualty insurance, InsurTech, financial services, or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, cloud-native platforms, LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks, and human-in-the-loop systems.
• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced experience.
