Senior Product Manager (Semantic Insurance Data)

Location: Remote, Massachusetts, United States. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of the job location. Travel: 10%.

Salary: $123,400–$192,900 for other U.S. locations; up to $153,900–$219,800 for selected metropolitan areas. Annual bonus eligibility may apply.

What you will do

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for semantic insurance data, including canonical concepts, metadata, relationships, and AI-ready consumption patterns.
• Translate complex insurance, regulatory, and technical problems into product capabilities, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Data, AI, UX, and insurance subject-matter experts on semantic models, APIs, knowledge graphs, data products, and AI grounding layers.
• Define data structures, lineage, context, quality standards, and retrieval patterns for LLMs, copilots, agentic workflows, analytics, and automation.
• Align semantic capabilities across Policy, Billing, Claims, Distribution, Data, and Platform products.
• Drive adoption, reuse, data quality, AI answer quality, and business impact across customer implementations and product use cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, data management, business, insurance, analytics, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, data product management, enterprise software, SaaS, insurance technology, data platforms, or related roles.
• Experience owning complex product domains and aligning business stakeholders, engineering, architecture, data, and customer-facing teams.
• Experience with data products, semantic layers, canonical data models, APIs, metadata, governance, analytics, AI/ML products, or enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience in property and casualty insurance, general insurance, InsurTech, financial services, or another complex regulated industry.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
• Experience across underwriting, policy, claims, billing, distribution, reinsurance, or customer servicing.
• Experience with insurance software platforms, SaaS solutions, agile methodologies, semantic modeling, data governance, or enterprise information models.
