Senior Accounting Manager (AI/Robotics)

What you will do

• Provide technical accounting guidance on ASC 606 and revenue recognition for software, hardware, and services arrangements.
• Review customer contracts, prepare technical accounting memos, and perform standalone selling price analyses.
• Own and improve the monthly close across global entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, deferred revenue, intercompany accounting, and flux analysis.
• Improve revenue recognition policies, NetSuite ARM workflows, accounting systems, automation, controls, and operational scalability.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, GTM, Legal, IT, hardware, and operations teams on accounting and inventory matters.
• Mentor junior accounting team members and support broader finance infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Active or inactive CPA license.
• Strong hands-on experience with ASC 606, technical accounting, contract reviews, and documenting accounting conclusions.
• Strong understanding of the full monthly close cycle and external reporting or audit support.
• Experience building or improving accounting processes in evolving environments.
• Strong operational rigor, communication skills, attention to detail, independent judgment, and problem-solving ability.

Nice to have

• Experience at Series A–C or high-growth startups.
• Experience with software and hardware revenue models.
• Familiarity with NetSuite ARM and modern finance tooling.
• Multi-entity or global accounting experience.
• Background in robotics, AI, autonomy, industrial, or deep-tech environments.
