Senior Operations Accountant

Location: On-site in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Employment requires authorization to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Maintain action-item trackers and follow up on accounting deliverables and operational deadlines.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close by preparing journal entries, completing reconciliations, and managing close checklists.
• Provide operational coverage across accounts payable, accounts receivable and revenue, and fixed assets in NetSuite.
• Identify discrepancies and process breakdowns, recommend solutions, and resolve operational accounting issues.
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to audit PBC requests.
• Partner with Procurement, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, People Operations, and accounting leadership to improve processes and maintain operational continuity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive general accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, general ledger operations, account and bank reconciliations, AP, AR, collections, and fixed assets.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong judgment, organization, communication, attention to detail, and independent execution skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
