Senior Operations Accountant (Manufacturing)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; hybrid with 3 days per week in-office

What you will do

• Execute monthly inventory reconciliations and post journal entries for rebates, manufacturing yield losses, facilities allocations, freight, and tariffs.
• Maintain accurate classification and accounting for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods, including physical inventory counts.
• Manage the fixed asset lifecycle, including additions, disposals, depreciation, inventory deployments to PPE, and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
• Monitor construction-in-progress accounts and capitalize completed projects on a timely basis.
• Analyze finished goods movements, COGS, RMAs, gross margin fluctuations, manufacturing overhead, and operational cost variances.
• Prepare audit schedules and partner with Supply Chain and Procurement to validate inventory movements and system accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, hardware, or infrastructure-intensive environments.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, inventory costing methodologies, and fixed asset accounting.
• Strong proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling.
• Ability to work with high volumes of unstructured data and optimize processes in a high-growth environment.
• Ability to work from the Sunnyvale office 3 days per week.
