Teamcenter Data Architect

Location: Remote (United States); up to 5% travel may be required. Candidates must be US Citizens and currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a US national security clearance.

What you will do

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain Teamcenter data models using BMIDE, including object types, attributes, relationships, business rules, and extensions.
• Translate Navy engineering, logistics, and lifecycle requirements into scalable PLM data structures aligned with enterprise standards.
• Develop data dictionaries, schema diagrams, metadata definitions, and other documentation supporting governance and knowledge transfer.
• Conduct impact analysis and implement controlled data model updates for integrations and evolving mission requirements.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, functional stakeholders, data governance teams, and architecture teams.
• Support testing and troubleshooting of BMIDE configurations, schema conflicts, deployment issues, and data inconsistencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting enterprise system implementations such as PLM, ERP, MRP, DevSecOps, or CRM.
• Experience with data modeling, data migration, data mapping, legacy system consolidation, configuration management, version control, and deployment processes.
• Ability to interpret technical and functional requirements and create structured data documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and documentation or collaboration tools such as Confluence and SharePoint.
• US citizenship and current or attainable US national security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Teamcenter BMIDE configuration and development experience, including business objects, attributes, relationships, LOVs, compound properties, relation types, conditions, rules, and runtime properties.
• Experience with PLM data modeling, system integrations, SOA services, XML, JSON, Teamcenter ITK, server-side customization, and Active Workspace.
• Knowledge of database concepts, performance optimization, data standards, metadata management, data quality, and data governance.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
