Structural Engineering Professional (Licensed PE)

Salary: $99,800–$133,100 per year

What you will do

• Perform conventional and complex structural analysis and design for steel and reinforced concrete systems.
• Apply IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC requirements, including wind and seismic provisions.
• Coordinate structural criteria and requirements with BIM designers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Complete self-checks, peer reviews, and independent calculation checks.
• Own assigned scopes, manage time and resources, and communicate scope changes and effort estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers, designers, and drafters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• At least 4 years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of US building codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
• Experience with structural engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with industrial, advanced manufacturing, or complex commercial facilities.
• Experience leading small project teams or guiding junior technical staff.
