Engineering Leader

Salary: $270,000–$320,000 estimated annual base salary, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead the Infrastructure, SRE, and Enterprise Governance Engineering teams.
• Set the teams’ vision and technical direction while building high-performing engineering organizations.
• Drive strategy and execution for cluster launchers, cloud providers, Kubernetes support, and cluster autoscaling.
• Oversee control plane, data plane, reliability, billing, production database, and related infrastructure components.
• Work with customers and field engineering to understand challenges and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong engineering management experience and a record of building productive, high-performing teams.
• Experience scaling teams while maintaining a healthy culture.
• Ability to maintain a high hiring bar, motivate and mentor employees, and manage performance issues.
• Deep technical knowledge of distributed systems, Kubernetes, and virtual machines.
• Strong execution, prioritization, urgency, results orientation, and communication skills.
