Service Technician (Robotics)

Location: On-site with 100% in-office presence in Sunnyvale, CA; temporary training in Dublin, CA, followed by an AM or PM shift with weekend coverage.

Salary: $28.40–$41.80 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Service and maintain robotic systems, electric bicycles, and support vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair faults in robotic platforms, modular components, e-bike drivetrains, electrical systems, control units, and battery packs.
• Assist senior and lead technicians with complex faults and develop advanced diagnostic capabilities.
• Use technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts to guide service work.
• Document diagnostic steps, repairs, and component failures in the service management system.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and battery-care procedures to reduce downtime and improve fleet readiness.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of service work experience.
• Curiosity and strong interest in mechanical work and repair.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and successful completion of an MVR check required.
• Availability for a business-dependent AM or PM shift with weekend coverage after training.

Nice to have

• Experience servicing vehicles, bicycles, fleets, electric or autonomous vehicles, robotics, or aircraft.
• Experience with JIRA, MaintainX, and other service management tools.
