TL;DR
Robot Service Technician (Robotics) (autonomous delivery robots): Assemble, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate autonomous delivery robots in workshop and field environments with an accent on mechanical and electrical systems, sensor integration, and fleet service. Focus on diagnosing complex failures, validating hardware in real-world deployments, and supporting onsite operations during the Monday–Friday PM shift.
Location: Onsite in Miami, Florida; available only to candidates local to the Miami area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.

What you will do
- Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, robot components, and electromechanical subsystems.
- Install, configure, and replace LiDAR, camera, and ultrasonic sensors.
- Perform routine maintenance, preventive service, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs across mechanical and electrical systems.
- Investigate incidents, execute service campaigns, and document maintenance activities and findings.
- Support robot deployment, testing, validation, rapid prototyping, and hardware verification in field environments.
- Provide onsite support across local sites and assist with inventory, equipment tracking, and parts organization.
Requirements
- Experience using mechanical and electrical tools, including measuring equipment.
- Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems and integrating custom electronic modules.
- Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and safe working practices.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to work in workshop and field environments and lift at least 50 pounds.
- U.S. work authorization is required; relocation, visa sponsorship, and remote work are not available.
Nice to have
- Automotive service, vehicle retrofitting, manufacturing, electric vehicle, robotics, or autonomous systems experience.
- Soldering, wire crimping, diagnostic tools, and general computer proficiency.
