Structural Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ or Albuquerque, NM, United States — on-site, with potential hybrid flexibility in the future

What you will do

• Independently design and analyze structural components and systems for low- to moderate-complexity projects.
• Coordinate structural solutions with architects, contractors, geotechnical engineers, and other disciplines.
• Use finite element analysis programs and engineering software for structural modeling and design.
• Support the preparation of structural drawings and specifications and contribute to QA/QC reviews.
• Interpret structural codes and seismic detailing requirements while addressing constructability and field issues.
• Set and communicate project deadlines and ensure deliverables are completed efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience; an MS degree may substitute for one year.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Registration as an Engineering Intern (E.I.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) in at least one U.S. state.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona, or Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Proficiency in Revit for basic modeling and detailing.
