Loan Coordinator (Mortgage Operations)

Location: Remote from Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Jamaica, or Brazil; availability for 30+ hours per week during U.S. business hours

hirify.global is hiring for a client seeking support for mortgage operations and lender coordination.

What you will do

• Manage loan files from submission through closing, tracking statuses, deadlines, outstanding conditions, and next steps.
• Communicate with lenders and underwriters, follow up on documentation, and escalate issues that could delay closing or funding.
• Gather, organize, and verify loan documentation and coordinate responses to underwriting conditions.
• Maintain accurate loan files, CRM records, loan management systems, and pipeline visibility.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve outstanding items and keep loan packages and updates on schedule.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements to reduce delays and loan cycle times.

Requirements

• Professional experience in loan coordination, loan processing, mortgage operations, or lender liaison work.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. mortgage and lending process.
• Experience managing loan files from submission through closing.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active files, deadlines, documentation, and follow-ups independently.
• Experience with CRM systems and Google Workspace; availability for 30+ hours per week during U.S. business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with DSCR, non-QM, or investment-property financing.
• Experience supporting real estate investors or U.S.-based mortgage lenders and brokers.
• Familiarity with Encompass, LendingPad, Jungo, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Experience in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, or operations.
