Construction Manager, Senior or Staff (Natural Gas Pipeline)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; up to 75% travel to project sites and field locations required.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day field execution for natural gas pipeline and facility construction projects.
• Develop construction strategies, execution plans, estimating, contracting, and delivery approaches for complex programs.
• Monitor contractor schedules, budgets, execution plans, costs, quality, and construction performance.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, operations, contractors, inspectors, and field personnel.
• Identify and resolve construction risks, claims, change orders, and delivery challenges.
• Support reporting, documentation, turnover, closeout, quality assurance, inspection programs, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Senior level: 8+ years of construction management experience and 5+ years supporting large capital projects valued at $50M or more.
• Staff level: 12+ years of construction management experience, including 7+ years leading complex construction efforts and experience with large-scale or mega-projects.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification required for the Senior Construction Manager level.
• Strong leadership, project execution, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with natural gas pipeline, energy infrastructure, or process facility construction.
• Professional construction or project management certifications.
