Senior Quality Control Manager

What you will do

• Implement and administer the project Quality Control Plan in accordance with client requirements, plans, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Perform or direct daily inspections and monitor construction activities for contract and quality compliance.
• Prepare material submittals, delivery verification forms, daily quality control reports, and detailed project records.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, drawings, materials, factory testing, manufacturer certifications, subcontractor work, and supplier activities.
• Coordinate third-party testing and participate in pre-construction meetings and quality training for project personnel.
• Drive between project sites and perform duties indoors and outdoors in active construction environments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in construction quality control with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Experience working across multiple teams and managing approximately $10 million or more in annual project volume.
• Extensive knowledge of building codes and general engineering principles.
• Strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, integrity, and professional presentation skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, Procore, and Adobe systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment is subject to E-Verify requirements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Formal safety and quality control training certifications.
