Production Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing operations to deliver safe, efficient, cost-effective production of high-quality products.
• Set performance expectations and manage accountability for Manufacturing Leaders, Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Material Leaders.
• Coach and develop manufacturing leadership teams and support succession planning.
• Allocate and plan resources to meet safety, quality, budget, profitability, productivity, delivery, and 6S targets.
• Improve the performance and manufacturability of new and existing products.
• Drive continuous improvement through quality plans, control plans, capital projects, new product development, problem solving, and visual management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, or 12 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience managing manufacturing operations, teams, and key operational metrics.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality management tools.
• Experience with materials replenishment, lean process improvement, project management, and supervision.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, including laser, brake press, hand weld, robotic weldment, and machining, is desired.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• ASQE, APICs, Lean, quality tools, or Six Sigma certification.
