Senior Service Technician (Robotics)

Location: On-site, 100% in-office in Sunnyvale, CA; training takes place in Dublin, CA. Permanent AM or PM shifts require weekend coverage and are assigned based on business needs.

Salary: $32.70–$48.10 USD per hour

What you will do

• Diagnose complex, intermittent, and unusual faults in robotic systems, modular components, and support vehicles.
• Perform advanced component-level repairs on electrical systems, control units, and related hardware.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts during troubleshooting.
• Document diagnostic processes, root-cause hypotheses, troubleshooting steps, repairs, and component failures in the service management system.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job assistance to Level 2 Technicians.
• Calibrate, configure, and maintain specialized diagnostic tools and test equipment while managing assigned workloads independently.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of service work experience.
• Curiosity and interest in mechanical systems and repair.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and successful completion of an MVR check required.
• Ability to work on-site full-time and support AM or PM shifts with weekend coverage.

Nice to have

• Experience servicing vehicles or fleets, especially electric or autonomous vehicles, robotics, or aircraft.
• Experience with JIRA, MaintainX, and other service management tools.
