Company

hirify.global develops risk-aware, reliable, field-ready AI and robotics systems for operating in unstructured real-world environments.

What you will do

  • Assemble and integrate perception payloads with LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS receivers, auxiliary sensors, compute modules, carrier boards, and microcontroller subsystems.
  • Build and route wire harnesses for power, high-speed data, synchronization, and control, and install mechanical payload hardware including enclosures, seals, mounts, and thermal components.
  • Perform continuity, grounding, EMI, power-rail, communication, sensor, calibration, compute boot, and network checks.
  • Document test results, deviations, rework, and repairs while supporting environmental, vibration, alignment, and thermal characterization testing.
  • Diagnose wiring faults, mechanical misalignments, intermittent communication issues, thermal faults, and other integration failures with electrical, mechanical, and compute engineers.
  • Prepare, stage, service, repair, and reconfigure payloads for laboratory tests, field trials, real-world deployments, and live demonstrations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hands-on technician experience in robotics, aerospace, electronics, automotive, or a related electro-mechanical assembly environment.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, torque drivers, and basic machine-shop tools.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and assembly instructions.
  • Experience building wire harnesses and working with low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with embedded compute systems, sensors, or robotics hardware, plus strong documentation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in workshop, laboratory, and field environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with LiDAR, cameras, radar, IMUs, Linux, ROS2, or embedded-system bring-up.
  • Soldering, crimping, or IPC-certified workmanship skills.
  • Knowledge of thermal management, weather sealing, EMI/EMC basics, or ruggedized mechanical design.
  • Experience with prototype builds, rapid iteration, field deployments, robotics, drones, or ruggedized field hardware.
  • Ability to design or suggest simple fixtures and jigs for improved assembly repeatability.

Culture & Benefits

  • Fully onsite collaboration with flexible working hours.
  • Full benefits, equity, and generous time off.
  • Work on robotics systems deployed in real-world environments.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to evaluating candidates based on merit, qualifications, and performance.
