Senior Assembly Technician I (Robotics): Assembling, testing, inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing humanoid robots and electro-mechanical assemblies with an accent on safety, quality, precision, and manufacturing data accuracy. Focus on diagnosing complex electrical and mechanical issues, reading schematics, improving production processes, and supporting reliable robot deployment.
Location: Onsite in Salem, Oregon, United States. All roles are U.S.-based, and applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States. Overtime from Monday to Friday and occasional weekend work may be required.
Salary: $29–$38 per hour.

What you will do
- Assemble, test, inspect, repair, and refurbish electro-mechanical robot assemblies using work instructions, drawings, schematics, and checklists.
- Record manufacturing data accurately in Jira and MES software.
- Identify issues and recommend process improvements that reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following quality and safety procedures.
- Assist with training, in-process inspections, material handling, and cross-functional operations support.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in mechatronics, robotics assembly, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience with electrical, electromechanical, and/or electronics testing.
- Strong hand-tool skills, mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, visual acuity, and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to safely lift up to 45 pounds and work overtime, including occasional weekends.
- Accurate computer data entry, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Nice to have
- Associate degree in a technical discipline or military technical training.
- Experience with MES, Jira, schematic and PCB layout files, wire harnesses, or PCB modification.
- Soldering and de-soldering experience, test bench setup, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Linux proficiency.
