Electrical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site at the Santa Clara, California headquarters; US work authorization required. A relocation stipend is available for candidates moving to the Santa Clara office from more than 50 miles away.

Salary: $195,000–$215,000 per year, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Lead electrical design and integration for innovative robotic systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, firmware, supply chain, manufacturing, and testing teams to debug and refine full-system designs.
• Develop testing and validation methodologies for electrical system performance and safety.
• Support the electrical design process from component selection and schematic capture through PCB layout and system bring-up.
• Work with partner engineering teams to improve electrical design execution and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in electrical design and execution.
• Experience with component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout for custom boards.
• Strong debugging and testing experience with complex electrical designs, including signal integrity and power integrity.
• Experience collaborating across mechanical, thermal, software, firmware, manufacturing, and testing disciplines.
• Must have and maintain US work authorization and be willing to work on-site in Santa Clara.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of electrical and electronic design experience, preferably in robotics or similarly complex systems.
• Experience with system architecture, requirements capture, and system analysis.
• Experience selecting sensors for complex electromechanical products.
• Expertise developing and executing electrical validation plans.
