Mill Machinist II (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY, United States; 2nd shift

Salary: $28.00–$32.00 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift employees

What you will do

• Perform milling operations on various materials using vertical and tracer-type milling machines.
• Set up and operate vertical mills using specified equipment.
• Machine complex, high-precision components for flight-critical military aircraft programs, including F-35, MQ-25, and FLRAA.
• Interpret engineering drawings, perform difficult layouts, and work without operation sheets when required.
• Develop new machining methods and techniques when needed.
• Inspect completed work and identify unusual conditions, defective materials, and defective parts using inspection equipment and processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a CNC mill machinist.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance.
• Enrollment and participation in the company’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program is required.
