Commercial Product Manager (Chemicals)

What you will do

• Manage, develop, and grow the allocated chemical product business in the Americas.
• Own product-level P&L results, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability improvement.
• Negotiate supplier purchase agreements and customer sales agreements, including annual contracts, spot transactions, and swaps.
• Manage inventory, price exposure, long and short positions, and commercial and operational risk.
• Build relationships with suppliers, customers, Sales Managers, and regional colleagues across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
• Identify lower-carbon product alternatives and pursue opportunities in the polyester customer segment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a bachelor’s degree in another field plus at least three years of relevant industry or commodity business experience.
• Experience with contract negotiations, formula pricing, commodity trading, risk management, and swaps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI and ERP/SAP systems.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced trading environment.
