Product Specialist

Location: Dublin, Ohio, US; hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of chemical products.
• Provide guidance to sales, purchasing, customer service, operations, and network planning teams.
• Set up new products for launches and maintain product information across the organization.
• Negotiate exception-based supplier costs and pricing and communicate pricing strategy to sales.
• Maintain supplier relationships, develop supplier reports, and participate in supplier meetings.
• Act as product manager when the Product Line Manager is unavailable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a scientific subject area.
• 3–5 years of sales or purchasing experience in chemicals or a related industry.
• Experience coordinating across functions, influencing execution, and managing multiple detailed projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, prioritization, and analytical decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Business Warehouse.
• Experience with Salesforce.com.
