Staff / Senior Deployment & Release Manager

What you will do

• Own the evaluation and approval process for deployments within defined Operational Design Domains.
• Verify that only validated and approved systems and vehicles are deployed.
• Support new autonomous vehicle bring-up from receipt and commissioning through first autonomous missions.
• Own the software release process, including quality gates and recurring fleet updates.
• Coordinate simulation, closed-course, shadow-mode, and supervised testing before production rollout.
• Define vehicle configurations, lead change reviews, and maintain documentation for regulators and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or an equivalent field.
• Extensive hands-on experience managing safety-critical autonomous deployments.
• Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders around a unified process vision.
• Ability to explain technical issues and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience fostering a safety culture in aviation, airline, or robotics applications.
• Familiarity with airport operations and airside driving environments.
• Experience with safety standards including ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600, IEC 61508, ANSI B56.5, ISO 3691, and ANSI 15.08.
