Electrical Engineer (Senior / Staff) (Power Innovation)

Location: OK Tulsa - Headquarters, United States. Hybrid work is available for most office roles.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks for pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.
• Drive Power Innovation initiatives involving automation, real-time monitoring, energy storage, and advanced control systems.
• Apply arc flash mitigation, fault detection, protection systems, and reliability analysis to improve electrical system performance.
• Provide technical expertise for power distribution, electrical schematics, high-voltage systems, transformers, generators, switchgear, and grid integration.
• Manage engineering projects from concept through execution, including scope, schedule, compliance, and business alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and influence engineering standards and technical strategy at Staff level.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Senior level: 8 years of engineering experience; Staff level: 12–15 years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or a related industry.
• Strong expertise in power generation, power distribution systems, electrical design, automation, controls, and energy systems.
• Experience with PLC and HMI systems, instrumentation and control system design, arc flash analysis, fault analysis, and system optimization.
• Ability to work independently, lead technical efforts, communicate effectively, and influence engineering decisions.
• Hybrid work at the Tulsa headquarters is applicable to most office roles.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license and, for the Senior level, a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience supporting Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC projects.
• Experience with ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD, or Simulink.
