Service Technician (Industrial Compressors)

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must be based in or around East Hartford, Connecticut, United States

Salary: $25–$36 per hour; overtime eligible

What you will do

• Perform preventive service, troubleshooting, and repairs on air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
• Clean customer equipment pads and related components, including skids, coolers, concrete, and tanks.
• Install, set up, and pipe compressor systems as required.
• Communicate completed services and recommend necessary repairs, upgrades, and other customer solutions.
• Complete service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documents.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call schedule with travel to customer locations.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and fluent English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical theory.
• Ability to use computers to complete work orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in industrial environments with temperature extremes, walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
• Ability to park a company-issued branded service vehicle at the place of residence without restrictions.

Nice to have

• Previous experience servicing industrial air-compression or related equipment.
