What you will do

  • Serve as the Site Engineer Lead for electrical infrastructure, including medium/low-voltage distribution, switchgear, and backup generation.
  • Optimize Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems to balance electrical and thermal loads across the site.
  • Provide technical oversight for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Building Management Systems (BMS), and PLC-based controls.
  • Drive asset lifecycle management and reliability-based maintenance (RBM) to improve uptime.
  • Lead capital and expense projects from concept through commissioning and turnover.
  • Ensure strict compliance with EHS, regulatory, and internal quality standards for all utility operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical generation, distribution, and critical utilities infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise in Cogeneration/CHP systems and energy demand management.
  • Experience with automation and control systems (DCS, BMS, PLC) in industrial or regulated environments.
  • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer.
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree (MS or MBA).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • Experience with power system studies, including arc flash and load flow analysis.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or CAFM systems.
