What you will do
- Conduct QA/QC reviews for substation design packages, focusing on physical design and protective relaying.
- Prepare engineering calculations and deliverables for complex high-voltage substation projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff to develop project execution depth.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary leads and clients to identify and accommodate key project drivers.
- Oversee budget, schedule, and quality requirements for assigned engineering tasks.
- Support continuous improvement and change management efforts within the substation quality management group.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Experience in substation design (Physical and/or Protection & Controls).
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks and drug screens.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
