AV Engineer

Location: Based in the London office; expected to be in office 75% of the time. Requires up to 8 weeks of domestic and international travel for new office build-outs.

Annual salary: £210,000–£250,000 GBP

What you will do

• Lead AV design, procurement, programming, and commissioning for new offices, expansions, and retrofits.
• Create system designs, schematics, line diagrams, rack elevations, programming logic, and operational documentation.
• Deliver first-day-of-business deployments and ensure conference rooms, event spaces, and collaboration areas are operational.
• Coordinate AV requirements with architects, contractors, workplace teams, Security, and IT.
• Develop automated reliability solutions, evaluate emerging AV technologies, and oversee global service standards.
• Manage AV integrators and vendors while supporting event production, maintenance, and operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise AV systems.
• Proficiency in Q-Sys or similar control-system programming and hands-on video-conferencing experience, particularly with Google Meet.
• Ability to create and interpret AV schematics, line diagrams, and rack elevations.
• Understanding of audio DSP, acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, EQ, dynamics, and automixing.
• Familiarity with enterprise video distribution, streaming technologies, and broadcast standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or professional experience relevant to the role.

Nice to have

• Logitech video-conferencing platforms, Q-Sys Level 2, CTS, or CTS-D certification.
• Lua control scripting, broadcast production, live event engineering, or large-scale office technology deployments.
• AV over IP systems using QLAN, Dante, or SMPTE 2110, including Netgear switches.
• Digital signage platforms, acoustical design, AV installation, or Google Workspace administration.
• Experience in high-growth technology companies.
