AV Engineer

Location: London, UK; hybrid policy requires staff to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time. Up to 8 weeks of domestic and international travel may be required for new office build-outs.

What you will do

• Lead AV design, procurement, programming, and commissioning for new offices, expansions, retrofits, conference rooms, event spaces, and collaboration areas.
• Create system schematics, line diagrams, rack elevations, programming logic, troubleshooting guides, and operational documentation.
• Coordinate AV requirements with architects, contractors, workplace teams, Security, IT, integrators, and vendors.
• Deliver first-day-of-business deployments and oversee global AV operations, maintenance, event production, and service standards.
• Test emerging AV technologies and develop automated solutions that improve reliability and reduce operational overhead.
• Build infrastructure supporting meetings, company-wide broadcasts, enterprise video distribution, and streaming for remote participants.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise AV systems.
• Proficiency in control-system programming with the Q-Sys ecosystem or a similar platform.
• Hands-on experience with video conferencing platforms, particularly Google Meet.
• Ability to create and interpret AV technical drawings, including schematics, line diagrams, and rack elevations.
• Understanding of audio DSP concepts, including acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, EQ, dynamics, and automixing.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or relevant professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Logitech video conferencing systems, Q-Sys Lua scripting, Google Workspace administration, or digital signage platforms.
• Q-Sys Level 2, CTS, or CTS-D certification.
• Experience with broadcast production, live events, AV installations, acoustical design, or large-scale office technology deployments.
• Experience with AV over IP systems using QLAN, Dante, or SMPTE 2110 and Netgear switches.
• Background in high-growth technology companies.
