Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; full-time hybrid role with travel as needed.

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year.

hirify.global provides technical assessments and mission assurance support for U.S. Space Force Space Systems Command launch vehicle programs.

What you will do

  • Evaluate launch vehicle avionics systems, components, architectures, and cost, technical, schedule, and performance factors.
  • Perform systems engineering activities including requirements definition, design and test reviews, risk management, verification, operations support, anomaly resolution, and post-flight analysis.
  • Review modified avionics systems for performance and reliability and assess compliance documentation against government standards.
  • Support fleet monitoring, launch operations, flight anomaly resolution, and mission assurance activities.
  • Plan and present Engineering Review Boards, program reviews, and other technical meetings.
  • Analyze technical data, prepare reports and weekly status updates, and manage engineering documentation for leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or another STEM discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in avionics systems engineering, software systems engineering, or technical program management in space or launch environments.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • Extensive knowledge of launch vehicle avionics, including flight computers, navigation, communications, engine control, power systems, telemetry, attitude control, and range safety.
  • Experience with design, analysis, evaluation, testing, certification, mission assurance, hardware reviews, technical presentations, and multi-agency collaboration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, IT systems, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and collaborative engineering databases.
