Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; 100% onsite at a data center

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 per year, plus potential bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Track servers, networking equipment, hardware, and other IT assets within the data center region.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of IT materials.
• Conduct inventory audits, update records, and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Operations to allocate hardware and materials efficiently.
• Maintain documentation and provide inventory, shipment, and audit reports.
• Work with Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance to support smooth workflows; travel to other data center locations as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with asset management software.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a data center environment, move and lift heavy objects, and adapt as priorities change.
• Interest in technology and willingness to learn about cloud compute services.
• Must have work authorization that does not require company sponsorship now or in the future.
