TL;DR

Supply Chain Specialist (AI hardware): Managing production material inventory, supply-demand tracking, supplier escalations, purchase orders, and contract manufacturing operations with an accent on inventory accuracy, material readiness, and manufacturing scale-up. Focus on closing supply gaps, coordinating finished-goods allocation, managing pricing and purchase-price variances, and supporting NPI and sustaining product delivery.

Location: San Jose, California, United States

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 USD base salary range

What you will do

Own on-site and off-site production material inventory, storage organization, tracking, and inventory movement transactions in ERP/MRP systems.
Maintain stock visibility across multiple locations, perform physical inventory counts, investigate variances, and coordinate inventory accuracy with Finance.
Manage non-conforming material dispositions and RMA processes.
Work with contract manufacturing partners on weekly material reviews, supply-demand gaps, supplier escalations, safety stock, and finished-goods allocation.
Issue production purchase orders and manage quarterly contract-manufacturer pricing updates.
Track purchase price variances and inventory revaluation while supporting NPI and sustaining product delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3–5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing environments.
Hands-on supply chain experience, including inventory management and warehousing.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google tools, including Excel/Sheets and Word/Docs.

Nice to have

Experience with contract manufacturing partners and global suppliers for L10–L12 components.
Knowledge of NPI processes and manufacturing scale-up.
Experience with BOM structures, ECOs, MCOs, and deviations.
