Associate (Corporate Development)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $83.4K–$166.8K annual base salary, excluding bonus, equity, wellness allowance, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Lead due diligence for live M&A transactions, coordinate cross-functional contributors, manage data rooms, and prepare consolidated diligence reports.
• Build operating models, trading comparables, precedent transaction analyses, DCF models, returns analyses, and accretion/dilution support.
• Prepare screening memos and company teardowns for inbound opportunities.
• Support the venture investment portfolio by maintaining deal terms, collecting portfolio KPIs, and tracking valuation marks, IRR, and MOIC.
• Forecast deal-related cash outflows for FP&A and Treasury and prepare executive and Board materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, management consulting, or a startup.
• Strong understanding and scrutiny of business models, financials, and operating mechanics within a financial institution.
• Excellent financial modeling, valuation, problem-solving, writing, and storytelling skills.
• Advanced Excel, data analysis tools, and SQL proficiency.
• Ability to work independently across multiple high-priority transactions in parallel.

• Strong network in crypto and/or traditional financial markets.
• Technical background or strong knowledge of industry software products and services.
