Manager, Global Corporate Development (Fintech)

Location: US - San Francisco, CA; hybrid position requiring at least 3 days in the office

Salary: $146,200–$233,700 USD per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and applicable sales incentives.

What you will do

• Identify, assess, and execute mergers, acquisitions, minority investments, joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives.
• Research payments and fintech industry trends, evaluate growth opportunities, and synthesize findings into data-grounded recommendations.
• Perform valuation analyses, financial modeling, and business case development for potential acquisitions and investments.
• Coordinate cross-functional diligence workstreams, prioritize findings, and escalate critical risks to senior stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations for senior leadership outlining strategic rationales, trade-offs, and transaction risks.
• Support deal pipeline management, market outreach, investment banking and investor relationships, and post-close integration or separation planning.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or applicable experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategy consulting, preferably with M&A exposure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, financial analysis, and valuation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of materials for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate across business units and functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with payments, fintech, or financial services industries.
• Advanced degree such as a master’s degree, MBA, JD, or MD.
