Onsite Service Engineer - TX Edwards

What you will do

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair technical systems during planned and ad hoc customer visits.
• Diagnose issues and take action to prevent equipment downtime.
• Install equipment and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Document service activities, record data, and prepare reports.
• Act as the on-site customer contact, provide service recommendations, and respond to customer needs.
• Report to the Site Manager and share technical expertise with less experienced team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma; an associate degree is preferred, with full military equivalent experience accepted as a substitute.
• 1–3 years of experience in a relevant technical field such as electronics, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum systems.
• Customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and see and hear clearly.
• Ability to use computer software for data recording and report writing.
• Ability to understand technical documentation, including technical drawings, and work independently while escalating issues when required.
