Field Service Technician I (Oilfield Equipment)

Location: Williston, North Dakota, United States. The role requires shop work when there is no field assignment, customer-site work, and availability for 24-hour on-call support during scheduled rotations. Relocation is not offered.

Salary: $23.00–$30.75 per hour, with starting pay of $23.00 and possible adjustment based on experience. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

What you will do

• Install, remove, maintain, test, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild frac, drilling, and surface control equipment.
• Perform equipment pre-checks and operate tools, materials, trucks, trailers, and site-specific equipment according to company procedures.
• Prepare job safety analyses, follow safety policies, use Stop Work Authority, and comply with location-specific protocols.
• Recommend equipment adjustments to improve quality and operational efficiency.
• Prepare accurate field service documentation and communicate with supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
• Provide customer service and support scheduled 24-hour on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn and apply technical equipment operation and maintenance.
• One to two years of relevant experience and/or training; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Authorization to operate a company vehicle and a clean driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to frequently stand, reach, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather, and moderate to severe noise while wearing required PPE.
