Senior Construction Project Engineer

What you will do

• Own the day-to-day technical execution of construction workstreams across multiple trades and project types.
• Lead stakeholder requests, change order documentation, material procurement, RFIs, and submittals through completion.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and estimating support while coordinating subcontractors, trade partners, and suppliers.
• Track project scopes, risks, blockers, progress, meeting minutes, logs, and closeout packages.
• Conduct site walks to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Support junior team members and uphold safety and documentation standards in a fast-paced field environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience independently supporting construction execution across multiple trades and project types.
• Independent judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving field environments.
• Experience coordinating daily work with subcontractors and trade partners.
• Strong organizational and project execution skills, including end-to-end ownership of documentation and deliverables.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hands-on experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project; ability to perform physical tasks in varied environmental conditions.
