Onsite Service Engineer (Vacuum Systems)

Location: Onsite in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, supporting TSMC customers

What you will do

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair technical systems during planned and ad hoc customer visits.
• Diagnose issues and help prevent equipment downtime.
• Perform installations and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Document service activities, record data, and write reports.
• Act as the onsite customer contact, provide service recommendations, and respond to customer needs.
• Report to the Site Manager and collaborate with team members while coaching less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• High school diploma; an associate degree is preferred, with full military equivalent experience accepted as a substitute.
• 1–3 years of relevant technical experience in electronics, mechanics, chemicals, gas, refrigeration, basic vacuum, or a related field.
• Customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and see and hear effectively.
• Ability to use computer software, interpret technical documentation and drawings, resolve problems independently, and follow applicable safety, health, legal, and company standards.
