Field Service Engineer - Cymer

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite customer support with travel to Tesla Austin, Samsung Austin, Samsung Taylor, NXP, and Infineon as required.

What you will do

• Diagnose and troubleshoot Cymer equipment by telephone and at customer sites.
• Install, repair, retrofit, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on laser equipment.
• Manage an assigned equipment base, including forecasting, customer meetings, and regular service communication.
• Provide service education and technical knowledge transfer to customer personnel.
• Maintain service parts, tools, reports, and related administrative records.
• Support nights, weekends, on-call coverage, compressed work-week shifts, and travel when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of technical experience working with electronics.
• Advanced installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting skills at module and system level.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, electronic email systems, and LabView.
• Oral and written English skills are required.
• Must meet customer-site access requirements, including background checks, safety training, cleanroom access, gowning, and use of breathing apparatus.

Nice to have

• Cymer laser experience.
• Ability to read and analyze opto-mechanical and electronic schematics.
• Experience leading an installation or contributing significantly to installations across multiple sites.
