Field Service Technician Atlas Copco

Location: Remote field-based role in the United States, requiring extensive domestic travel from Monday through Friday and occasional international travel. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commute of the assigned territory and be able to park a company-issued branded service vehicle at their residence.

Salary: $32–$40 per hour; annual compensation of $66,560–$83,200. Overtime eligible after 8 hours per day.

What you will do

• Install, commission, repair, and troubleshoot nitrogen generation systems and related machinery at customer locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, testing, and quality checks according to established procedures.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues involving control systems, I/O modules, servo amplifiers, and other electrical components.
• Provide customers with operational and safety guidance for nitrogen systems.
• Complete service reports, manage parts inventory, and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Support continuous improvement through safe, high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on field service experience with large machinery, machine tool installation, repair, or preventive maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and CAD drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel domestically within the United States from Monday through Friday, including overnight stays, with occasional international travel.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple service calls, and interact professionally with customers.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 70 pounds and work in confined spaces, at heights, and around electrical hazards and moving machinery while using required PPE.
