Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: London, with hybrid working typically requiring 2–3 days in the office

Salary: £110,000–£135,000 GBP per year

What you will do

• Enable multiple engineering teams to achieve delivery goals by removing blockers, improving performance measurement, and supporting team autonomy.
• Develop team charters and align engineering missions with broader product and business objectives.
• Partner with Product Managers to prioritise technical investment alongside feature development.
• Coach teams on effective delivery ceremonies, communication, and outcome-focused execution.
• Develop engineers through ongoing coaching, constructive feedback, and inclusive leadership.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration, complex cross-team projects, hiring, retention, and change management.

Requirements

• Expert communication skills for navigating complex stakeholder environments and managing delivery constraints, capacity, quality, and deadlines.
• Proven experience managing technical teams and delivering pragmatic solutions that balance quality, security, and customer outcomes.
• Technical background with experience coaching engineers and applying engineering best practices, including agile methodologies.
• Hands-on engineering experience and the ability to demonstrate knowledge of relevant technical stack during the interview process.
• Servant-leadership approach focused on the growth and success of engineers.
