Product Test Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Taipei, Taiwan

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies (PCBA) down to the component level.
• Work on-site with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and ODMs to improve yield and resolve capability gaps.
• Support new-product bring-up, proto builds, and first-article testing under compressed schedules.
• Drive DFM and DFT initiatives to improve test coverage and manufacturability.
• Maintain detailed failure data records and update debug procedures and SOPs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Taiwan and San Jose to resolve recurring issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–8 years of experience in manufacturing test, product, or electrical engineering.
• Hands-on board-level debug experience including schematics and PCB layouts.
• Fluent Mandarin for day-to-day factory work.
• Working English for daily collaboration with San Jose teams.
• Flexibility to travel domestically to CM/ODM sites on short notice.

Nice to have

• Experience with test fixture design (ICT, BFT, FRU, SLT).
• Proficiency in PCB CAD/CAE tools like Allegro or Valor.
• Scripting skills for test automation and data analysis using Python and Linux.
• Background in high-performance compute or liquid-cooled server hardware.
