NPI Manufacturing Technical Manager (Injection Molding/Manufacturing): Developing manufacturing technologies, mold solutions, and DFM practices for new projects awarded to ODM suppliers with an accent on tooling design, Moldflow simulation, and injection molding quality. Focus on improving yield rates, minimizing material usage, evaluating durable and maintainable mold designs, and troubleshooting production issues.

What you will do

  • Coordinate manufacturing technology and processes for new projects awarded to ODM suppliers.
  • Collaborate with business groups and vendors on tooling DFM and Moldflow simulation.
  • Develop mold solutions for NPI projects to improve manufacturing efficiency and minimize material usage.
  • Improve injection molding yield rates and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Evaluate and review mold designs for durability, quality, efficient production, and simple maintenance.
  • Research manufacturing technology trends and communicate with affiliated suppliers.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in mold design and CAE, including Moldflow, for injection molding.
  • Thorough understanding of injection mold processing parameters and applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
