Fab Mechanic - ECM Operator (2nd Shift)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States; onsite, 2nd shift Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM

Compensation: $1.00 shift differential

What you will do

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of materials and machined workpieces.
• Read blueprints and job orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, tooling instructions, and operation sequences.
• Set up fixtures, feeding devices, saws, and ECM equipment.
• Position and secure tubing, tools, and workpieces in the machinery.
• Set feeds, speeds, and cutting depth, then monitor machine operation for conformance.
• Mark reference points using tape and rods and complete other assigned production duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read blueprints or job orders and interpret dimensions and tolerances.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Consistent, regular, and punctual attendance during the second shift is required.
