Data Measurement & Reporting Advisor (Tableau/SQL)

Location: United States Work at Home. Candidates residing within 50 miles of Bloomfield, CT; Chattanooga, TN; Denver, CO; St Louis, MO; or Scottsdale, AZ may be asked to work in person.

Annual salary: $96,700–$161,100, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Design standardized performance analytics, measurement frameworks, data definitions, and operational KPIs aligned with enterprise goals.
• Develop and automate Tableau dashboards and reusable reporting templates that translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Partner with business leaders to define analytical questions, develop solutions, and measure outcomes.
• Analyze trends, risks, opportunities, root causes, variances, and operational performance drivers.
• Use advanced SQL and SAS, Altair, or Python to validate results, prepare data, automate work, and investigate data issues.
• Resolve reporting and data-quality issues with IT and cross-functional teams while delivering executive-ready reporting and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or another data-focused field.
• Advanced Tableau experience required, including personally designing and developing dashboards and visual analytics solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills required, including complex queries, data validation, troubleshooting, and analysis across multiple data sources.
• Experience using SAS, Altair, or Python for analytics, data preparation, automation, or complex problem-solving.
• Experience designing operational KPIs, performance reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
• Demonstrated success investigating data, reporting, and measurement issues and driving them to resolution.
• Ability to perform root-cause, trend, and variance analysis and turn findings into business recommendations.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, stakeholder partnership, independent judgment, and accountability.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, information systems, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business analytics, or a related field.
• Healthcare or payer analytics experience involving claims, membership, clinical operations, utilization management, provider data, or regulatory reporting.
• Experience supporting executive reporting and operational performance management.
• Experience improving data quality, reporting infrastructure, or analytical processes.
