What you will do

• Design, test, and troubleshoot high-voltage power systems for pulsed magnetic coils.
• Oversee the procurement, construction, and commissioning of systems delivering pulses up to 5 MA and 40 kV.
• Develop system architectures and collaborate on schematics and installation drawings.
• Lead design reviews to ensure cost-effective, scalable, and reliable engineering solutions.
• Mentor electrical engineers and foster technical capability across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in power electronics and complex electrical engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with design, fabrication, and testing of electronic systems.
• Strong knowledge of solid-state switching technologies including IGBTs, MOSFETs, and SCRs.
• Proficiency with tools such as LTSpice, SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, Altium, and MATLAB.
