Power Supply Integration Engineer (AI Hardware)

What you will do

• Design and develop high-power supply solutions for processor applications.
• Select, design, and qualify components and solutions with power supply vendors.
• Design multi-phase power systems for low-voltage processors and develop 48V input conversion solutions.
• Perform PCB IR drop and power loss analysis using simulation tools to optimize power distribution networks.
• Support power delivery and thermal management for large BGA packages.
• Test and validate designs while maintaining schematics, layout files, and design documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in power supply design, particularly for high-power processor applications.
• Expertise in multi-phase power solutions for low-voltage processors and 48V input conversion.
• Experience with PCB IR drop analysis and power loss simulations.
• Knowledge of large BGA power development and thermal management.
• Proficiency with power supply design and simulation tools, including Cadence Voltus IC Power Integrity Solution.
