Electrical Engineer (Fusion)

Location: On-site in Everett, WA

Salary: $165,000 – $200,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, test, and scale high-voltage systems for driving pulsed magnetic coils.
• Develop and integrate DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC converters for energy delivery and recovery.
• Design low-voltage control electronics and PCBAs that interface with high-energy systems.
• Build analog front ends for diagnostics and ensure measurement integrity in high EMI environments.
• Partner with firmware and software teams to define acquisition requirements and data quality.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Everett, WA.
• 2+ years of experience in power electronics and solving complex electrical engineering problems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Hands-on troubleshooting ability with standard lab equipment like oscilloscopes and pulse generators.
• Experience with simulation tools such as LTSpice, SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, or Simulink.
• Strong safety mindset and experience working in high-energy or electrically noisy environments.
